About Stem Cell Therapy

I.i

What are mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs)?

Mesenchymal stem cells are multipotent cells found in various tissues throughout the body. They have the ability to self-renew and may differentiate into multiple cell types. We use umbilical cord-derived MSCs from healthy, screened donors.

I.ii

Where do the stem cells come from?

Our cells are umbilical cord-derived MSCs maintained at very low passages. All tissue is ethically donated with full informed consent from healthy, screened mothers after cesarean delivery. No embryonic or fetal tissue is used.

I.iii

Are stem cell treatments FDA approved?

These therapies are not FDA-approved. However, our cell products are obtained from FDA-registered facilities, and we follow strict quality control protocols including sterility testing and cell characterization.

I.iv

How is this different from embryonic stem cells?

We use adult mesenchymal stem cells from umbilical cord tissue collected after birth — not embryonic stem cells. This raises no ethical concerns about embryonic tissue.

About the Treatment

II.i

What conditions do you treat?

We treat orthopedic conditions, pain management, and wound care situations, including joint pain, back and spine conditions, and soft tissue injuries.

II.ii

How is the treatment performed?

Stem cell injections are performed using image guidance (ultrasound or fluoroscopy) to ensure precise delivery to the target tissue. The procedure is minimally invasive and typically performed on an outpatient basis.

II.iii

How long does the procedure take?

The injection itself typically takes 30–60 minutes. However, you should plan to be at our facility for 2–4 hours including preparation, the procedure, and recovery time.

II.iv

Is the treatment painful?

Local anesthesia is used to numb the treatment area, and most patients report minimal discomfort during the procedure. Sedation is available for spinal procedures.

II.v

How many treatments will I need?

Many patients receive a single treatment, though some conditions may benefit from additional sessions. Treatment protocols are individualized during consultation.

III.

Results & Recovery

III.i

When will I see results?

Results vary significantly between patients. Some notice improvement within weeks, while others may take several months. Regenerative therapy works by supporting the body's natural healing processes, which takes time. Results are not guaranteed.

III.ii

What is the recovery time?

Most patients can return to light activities within a few days. Full recovery and return to normal activities typically occurs over several weeks, depending on the procedure.

III.iii

What is the success rate?

We cannot quote specific success rates as individual responses vary considerably based on the condition being treated, its severity, and patient-specific factors. During your consultation, we'll discuss realistic expectations for your situation.

III.iv

How long do the effects last?

The duration of benefit varies by patient and condition. Some patients experience lasting improvement, while others may benefit from repeat treatment. We provide ongoing follow-up to monitor your progress.

III.v

Are there any side effects?

Common side effects are typically mild and temporary, including soreness at the injection site, mild swelling, or temporary increase in pain. Serious complications are rare.

IV.

Candidacy & Consultation

IV.i

Am I a candidate for stem cell therapy?

Candidacy depends on your specific condition, medical history, and goals. Generally, patients with mild to moderate joint or soft tissue conditions who haven't responded to conservative treatment may be candidates.

IV.ii

What should I bring to my consultation?

Please bring any relevant imaging (X-rays, MRIs), a list of your current medications, your medical history, and any questions you have about the treatment.

IV.iii

Do you accept insurance?

Regenerative stem cell treatments are generally not covered by insurance. All services are self-pay. Payment options are discussed during consultation.

IV.iv

How much does treatment cost?

Treatment costs vary based on the procedure type and areas being treated. We provide detailed pricing during your consultation after evaluating your specific needs.
